Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the Head Chef.
  • Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and consistency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
  • Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, peeling, and marinating.
  • Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or needs to the kitchen manager.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Participate in regular cleaning and maintenance schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience is a plus.
